2007/2008年管風琴第六級考試內容與規則

Scales and Arpeggios (Published by the Board): from memory:

MANUAL SCALES:

(i) in similar motion with hands together one octave apart, in all keys, major and minor, both melodic and harmonic (two octaves)

(ii) in contrary motion, hands beginning and ending on the key-note (unison), in the keys of C, E and F majors (two octaves)

CHROMATIC SCALES:

(i) in similar motion with hands together one octave apart, beginning on any note named by the examiner (two octaves)

(ii) in contrary motion, beginning on C with the left hand and E with the right, a third apart (two octaves)

MANUAL ARPEGGIOS: the major and minor common chords of C, G, D, A, E and F, in root position only, with hands together in similar motion one octave apart (two octaves)

PEDAL ARPEGGIOS: the major and minor common chords of C, G, D, A, E, A flat and D flat, in root position only (a twelfth)

PEDAL EXERCISE (not required to be played from memory): pedal part, bars 93-107, from the 1st movt of Mendelssohn's Sonata in F minor, Op.65 no.1.

報考資格：須通過第五級以上樂理或實用音樂素養

三首考曲: 由下列A,B,C,三組中各選一首(選錯曲可能不計分)

Playing at Sight: See General Regulations for Organ.

Transposing at Sight: a simple two-part passage (manuals only) a tone higher or lower, as directed by the examiner, without first playing it through in the original key.

Blind candidates will be given a combined memory and transposition test in place of the two tests above. A copy in Braille of a simple hymn tune for manuals only will be given to the candidate 10 minutes before the examination. The candidate will then be asked to play it at the beginning of the examination, first in the original key, and then a tone or semitone higher or lower as directed by the examiner.
